The "Zeszyty Kaliskiego Towarzystwa Przyjaciół Nauk" have been published since 1995 and contain materials and studies focusing on the issues of science in its regional dimension. "Journals" are a continuous publication, issued regularly as an annual journal. devoted to other topics: including bibliology, library science, pedagogy, history of the region, history of art, musicology, heraldry, editing, gentry, the Reformation in the Kalisz region. Reviews, Reports, From the mourning card, From the life of the Society. Each article includes a title and an abstract in English. The editorial staff of "Zeszyty" (ISSN 1426 - 6547, e-ISSN 2657-8646) declares that the printed version of the journal is its basic version.

All articles are published in Open Access and use open license CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 (Attribution – Non-Commercial – No Derivative Works).

"Zeszyty" are indexed in the POL-index, BazHum, ARIANTA, Index Copernicus databases. In 2021, the journal positively passed the IC Journals Master List evaluation process, the result of which was the Index Copernicus Value 73.92 for 2021 (ICV 2012 - 3.98, 2013 - 4.38 pkt. ICV 2014 - 25.68, 2015 - 45.08, 2016 - 57,09, 2017 - 63,58, 2018 - 65,71, 2019 - 68,20, 2020 - 67,00). The scoring was calculated on the basis of the questionnaire submitted by the Editorial Board and the assessment made by Index Copernicus specialists. The journal is on the list of the Ministry of Education and Science. 20 points are obtained for publication in "Zeszyty Kaliskie Towarzystwo Przyjaciół Nauk".

"Zeszyty" is a peer-reviewed journal. The list of reviewers is provided in the "Reviewers" and "Archives" tabs. The editorial office uses protection against the phenomenon of "ghostwriting" and "guest authorship" (see the "Journal policy" tab). The editorial office makes every effort to maintain the highest ethical standards applicable in the publishing practice and uses all possible measures to prevent abuse and unreliability of the author. The adopted rules of conduct applicable to the editors, authors, reviewers and publishers were prepared on the basis of the guidelines of the Publishing Ethics Committee (COPE) (see the "Journal Policy" tab).
